She was glad it had ended eventually, as she hadn't been too comfortable about it. Clea had not been fond of the first time and she wondered how the others would be like. Her mind had drifted off into sleep with the paranoia she'd feel the small pain each time. Even bleed a little afterwards like she had this time. She had been startled awake by a loud voice interuppting her dreams. Clea sat up groggily and rubbed her eyes, feeling sore. It took her a few moments to actually register in her mind what the man had said. Danger? How? Already? Protection? She frowned a bit, not expecting all this to happen so soon. What could possibly be a danger to her already? No one had even attempted a poison to her food for kami's sake! It wasn't like she had any ground to really protest on, though... "O-ok..." She mumbled tiredly and slowly stood up, wincing slightly.
Clea moved out from behind the curtains, glancing at the guard. What did she do? Did she pack? Or did she just...go? Clea sighed and thought she should at least get out of her nighties. So she made the guard wait outside the room while she changed into something plain and simple - and inexpensive looking. Frowning as she gazed out toward the moon her mind still lingered on what could possibly be wrong. Were some women so envious over her for marrying Akumu? It wasn't like she had asked for any of this. Her parents had.
Sighing softly she moved out of the room and followed the guard towards the stables. Who would be protecting her? Her gold eyes skimmed the areas around her as they walked. At least Akumu was caring enough to send her somewhere safe, right? Clea shifted slightly and tiredly gazed out toward the stable up ahead. She noticed that Orion and Akumu both were there. Her tired eyes blinked with wonder, what was Orion doing there? Mounted on his horse...was he leaving? How depressing...she was hoping he'd stay around a little longer. Though it quickly crossed her mind that she may be very well going with him. Orion was going to protect her?
"W-what's going on exactly?" Clea murmured, eyes shifting toward Akumu. "How am I already in some sort of danger...?" When would she be back? Would she even be back at all...?

Once Clea had approached Akumu grabbed her and gently lifted her onto the horse, seating her in front of Orion, who wrapped a strong arm about her mid-section. "An enemy of mine has threatened you," Akumu said, his eyes taking on a tint of worry - oh, he was such a great liar. Being tall enough, Akumu lifted himself slightly onto the tips of his toes and brushed his lips against Clea's. "You'll be back when the danger is gone," he answered, "but I cannot tell you when that is." Actually, he could. His eyes shifted towards Orion. "Go," he said and released the reins.
With that, Orion brushed his heels against Fox's sides. The colt jumped a bit and a shudder ran through his muscles as he bunched his hindquarters, lifted his forelegs and leapt forward into a jumpy gallop. Orion leaned forward a bit, pressing his chest against Clea's back, pushing her forward as well. "Grip his mane," Orion said, his lips close to her ear as he watched the ground speed by through Fox's black-tipped ears.
Adele loped happily beside the three, leaping over small crates and fallen boards as Fox did. They were outside the city a while later and now in an open area, Fox's long strides swallowed the ground quickly, his hooves beat loudly against the ground. Adele padded quietly along side, able to keep up - but barely. Had her legs been any shorter and her muscles any weaker, she would've been far behind.
It was a while before Orion slowed the jumpy colt to a slow walk. By now Fox was heaving heavy breaths, and Adele's tongue was nearly to the ground. His hold on Clea was still tight, and he was enjoying the warmth that emanated from her. "Well," he said a bit breathlessly, "that was fun." Fox shook his head and tugged at the bit, signaling for Orion to give him more length. "I'm not sure where to go," Orion admitted after a while. "Maybe we can get you your own horse, it would be easier on Fox -- do you know how to ride?" -- but, back to the question on where to go, maybe there was a small settlement nearby. If there was they could get some supplies - maybe a horse, or a donkey for Clea - and head out to the woods to disappear for a while.

An enemy had already threatened her? Clea frowned but felt slightly touched by the tint of worry in his eyes. If only she knew it was all a lie. She smiled as his lips brushed against her own, nodding a bit to him. "Ok...goodbye for now, then." She hoped to be back soon. She didn't need stuff like this right now! She'd just gotten married and stuff, after all! She was also still sore from...well...yeah. She watched him let go or the reins and off they went. Off to wherever Orion was going to take her. Where would they end up going? Her mind pondered this and for a moment she hadn't registered what he'd said. But as soon as it registered she gripped the horse's mane and nodded at him.
It seemed to be forever that they ran on the horse, Clea feeling her soreness the whole way but not complaining. She would glance over at Adele at times, surprised the dog could keep up so well. She would smile a bit, then return her attention forward. It hadn't taken them long to get out of Aku. Now they were just on neutral territory, often called Traveler's Trail. The horse was slowed to a walk she felt sorry for him, patting him very gently as not to startle him. He must've been so tired...so was Clea. She wanted to sleep quite badly. She looked back toward Orion and smiled a bit. "Yeah..." She wasn't so sure it was fun for her right now. But it was good to keep things in good spirits. Clea didn't want to be a downer.
She looked ahead and around at everything, listening to Orion admit he had no clue where to go. She had merely shrugged slightly at the comment. Because she had nothing to offer to that - Clea had no clue where to go. "Sort of," was her response to the question of ridding. "I learned sideseat but taught myself the normal way." She grinned a bit, "I don't really like sitting sideways on a horse."
She thought of owning a horse on her own and felt hesitant. How would she take care of it? But it was Orion's choice, not her's. If he wanted to get her another one for his horse to be able to have a break, then she wouldn't protest.
